Những ngày này, nhiều tuyến đường và trụ sở cơ quan trên địa bàn TP.HCM được trang hoàng rực rỡ cờ Tổ quốc, băng rôn, pa-nô, áp phích tuyên truyền chào mừng ngày bầu cử đại biểu Quốc hội khóa XVI và đại biểu HĐND các cấp nhiệm kỳ 2026 - 2031.

Nhiều trụ sở cơ quan, khu dân cư và các tuyến đường chính, cờ đỏ sao vàng được treo trang trọng. Các băng rôn, khẩu hiệu, bảng thông tin và pa-nô tuyên truyền được bố trí đồng bộ, góp phần tạo diện mạo mới, nổi bật cho nhiều khu vực.

Trên các tuyến đường như Nguyễn Huệ, Điện Biên Phủ, Nam Kỳ Khởi Nghĩa…, nhiều cụm pa-nô, áp phích lớn được lắp đặt, giới thiệu thông tin về quyền và nghĩa vụ của cử tri, cũng như các nội dung liên quan đến cuộc bầu cử sắp tới.

Theo công bố của Hội đồng Bầu cử Quốc gia, cả nước có 864 ứng viên đại biểu Quốc hội tại 182 đơn vị bầu cử để bầu 500 đại biểu. Trong số này có 392 ứng viên là nữ (45,37%), 188 người dân tộc thiểu số (21,76%) và 65 người ngoài Đảng (7,52%).

Kỳ bầu cử đại biểu Quốc hội khóa XVI và đại biểu HĐND các cấp nhiệm kỳ 2026 - 2031 sẽ diễn ra vào ngày 15/3.
