MB cùng TPHCM phát triển thanh toán số cho giao thông công cộng

(QK7 Online) - MB và Trung tâm Quản lý Giao thông công cộng TPHCM, Sở Xây dựng, cùng triển khai giải pháp thanh toán không tiền mặt trong giao thông công cộng qua thẻ MB MultiPass.
MB MultiPass là thẻ thanh toán không tiếp xúc (contactless) theo tiêu chuẩn quốc tế, cho phép người dân sử dụng trực tiếp khi tham gia phương tiện giao thông công cộng như xe buýt, metro... Việc ứng dụng thẻ giúp rút ngắn thời gian giao dịch tại điểm soát vé, hạn chế sử dụng tiền mặt, đồng thời, nâng cao tính tiện lợi và an toàn trong quá trình di chuyển. Theo đó, mục đích lớn nhất của hợp tác này là góp phần thúc đẩy chuyển đổi số hạ tầng giao thông, nâng cao trải nghiệm người dân và hướng tới xây dựng đô thị văn minh, hiện đại.

Bên cạnh chức năng thanh toán, người dùng có thể dễ dàng quản lý thẻ thông qua ứng dụng MB Bank, bao gồm nạp tiền, theo dõi lịch sử giao dịch và kiểm soát chi tiêu. Giải pháp cũng được tích hợp các tiêu chuẩn bảo mật hiện đại, góp phần bảo vệ thông tin và tài sản của khách hàng.
Ông Bùi Hòa An, Phó giám đốc Sở Xây dựng chia sẻ, với mục tiêu đưa tỷ lệ sử dụng giao thông công cộng đạt mức 15-20% tổng lưu lượng di chuyển, đáp ứng tốt nhu cầu của người dân, TP HCM xác định công nghệ thanh toán tiện lợi là “chìa khóa” then chốt.
“Sở Xây dựng tin việc ký kết hợp tác với Ngân hàng TMCP Quân đội sẽ mang lại hệ sinh thái giao dịch thuận tiện nhất, thúc đẩy thói quen di chuyển xanh và hiện đại của người dân thành phố”, ông nói thêm.

Phát biểu tại sự kiện, ông Hà Trọng Khiêm, Phó tổng giám đốc MB cho biết Trung tâm Quản lý Giao thông công cộng TPHCM và các cơ quan quản lý TPHCM đã chủ động tạo điều kiện cho ngân hàng tham gia chương trình đổi mới sáng tạo.
“Với khát vọng chuyển đổi số, MB mong muốn mang đến những giá trị tốt nhất góp phần xây dựng Thành phố văn minh - hiện đại. Chúng tôi cam kết đồng hành cùng sự phát triển của TP HCM qua những giải pháp số hóa tiện lợi và thiết thực nhất”, ông khẳng định.
Theo đại diện ngân hàng, việc hợp tác với Trung tâm Quản lý Giao thông công cộng TPHCM là một trong những bước đi cụ thể của MB trong chiến lược thúc đẩy chuyển đổi số và phát triển bền vững. Qua ứng dụng công nghệ tài chính vào lĩnh vực giao thông, đơn vị kỳ vọng góp phần nâng cao hiệu quả vận hành, giảm phát thải và xây dựng hệ sinh thái đô thị thông minh tại Việt Nam.
